I pull covers of anxiety
close to my little heart
and those dry eyes
stare at violet smoke
dissipating over walls of innocence
where it crumbles between flames
of my shattered thoughts
and numbness soaking my face
before a butterfly of hope
fluttering for its life

This wonderful art represents one of the most tormented emotions of human beings i.e. anxiety. We all have gone through this phase in our lives and how we often release these thoughts at every night burning ourselves! but it's not all that bad just like the butterfly painted in the art which sends us a strong message to focus on the little hope we all need to during our tough times

I hope that Butterfly has a fire extinguisher, or points to a fire escape . I'm both serious and joking, cause I feel a lot like that little girl, scared, maybe my hope's fluttering for it's life too. You're poetry is powerful and provocative, but more importantly it touches me, thank you!
