escape

a dove is set on fire
and rest of the valley stands
gawking as if peace is no more
valued among the branches
that speak of life

the wolves of sabotage
will feast tonight

she knows of this devastation
when the moon has disappeared
into a hollow
she is afraid to enter

but she cannot burn
every piece of land
where hunters walk
in search of emotions
they feed upon

there are some flowers
watching out for light
and young hearts frozen
in dried weeds

only the lamp of an old wizard
will save her skin
from falling into dark chambers
she is willing to escape
along with her naked soul
